A fictional novel about four days in the Christian life of ninety-five year old Neb who gets an unexpected birthday surprise. Neb has the opportunity to instill Divine wisdom into each of his three grown children and fulfill a powerful prophecy, showing age is not a factor in God’s work. The book is inspired by, and includes real life events of the Ebenezer Pentecostal Holiness Church Senior Adults.

Lane Sturkie has lived much of his sixty-six years in his small hometown of South Congaree, South Carolina. His careers in computer networking and general contracting have taken him around the world. Yet, for him there is no finer place than home and no finer place to worship than with the Ebenezer Pentecostal Holiness Church family, the focus of this novel. Lane is gullible enough to believe in the merging of modern Christianity with the legacy of our Christian forefathers. The result is not so much a powerful church from inside, but outside the walls where Holy Spirit-filled laymen shine brightest. Lane is simple minded enough to encourage what James said in chapter 2 verse 18 of the Bible, “Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.”
